What is the purpose of the Baby Your Baby Program?
To provide women with rapid access to affordable, early, quality, prenatal care.
To provide pregnant women with education and resources.
To provide enhanced Baby Your Baby services including perinatal care coordination (perinatal is the period around childbirth including the three months before and up to one year after the birth), prenatal and postnatal home visits.
What usually happens when a women seeks help through the Baby Your baby program?
The first meeting determines eligibility for Baby Your Baby.
The nurse assesses physical, emotional, mental and safety risk factors.
Referrals to doctors, Medicaid, WIC, Prenatal Classes, and other services as needed can be made by the nurse.
The nurse will follow up either by phone, personal contact or home visit on high risk clients.
The nurses participate in ongoing staff education to stay informed regarding issues related to pregnancy and women’s health.
The nurses participate in a yearly maternal and child health audit and training.
Who is eligible for Baby Your Baby program?
Women with a confirmed pregnancy living at or below 133% of the federal poverty level for her family size including the unborn child and who meets U.S. and Utah residency requirements are provided services.

How can I be enrolled in the Baby Your Baby program?
Pregnant women can access services by calling or walking in, for an appointment. The wait for an appointment is less than 1 week.
You can be referred from any agency (Medicaid, Division of Work Force Services, The Learning Center for Families, Women Infant Children etc.) or any medical provider.
