What is Baby Your Baby?

The Baby Your Baby program offers  financial help on a temporary basis to Utah women who are pregnant and in need of assistance to pay for prenatal care. Baby Your Baby can help finance a pregnancy through a form of Prenatal Medicaid.  Once approved, a Baby Your Baby card will be issued.  This card covers outpatient pregnancy-related services including medical appointments and prescriptions. It does not cover labor and delivery. Your Baby Your Baby card is only temporary and issued once per pregnancy.  You should apply for Medicaid as soon as possible. Once you qualify, Medicaid  will cover the rest of your pregnancy along with the hospital stay and delivery charges.

·       Be pregnant

·       Be a Utah resident

·       Be a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted as a permanent resident (green card)

·       Live in a household with an income under certain limits for her household size (see below)

·       NOT already be on Medicaid or enrolled in the Child Health Insurance Program (CHIP) or the Primary Care Network (PCN) Program

·       NOT have already received a Baby Your Baby Card for this pregnancy

Eligibility is based on your household size (including the unborn baby) and gross monthly income (before taxes) as well as other basic program guidelines. Use the table below to decide if you may qualify for financial help through Baby Your Baby.
